Style Coaching
AUTHENTIC style that brings out the real you.
You’re probably considering Style Coaching for one of the following reasons…
- You’ve changed! (How human of you…wink.) Whether you’ve gone through a major internal shift, the pandemic or entered a new phase in life, you just feel…different inside or out – and your clothes (literally or figuratively) don’t fit you anymore.
- You’re ready to expand and up-level your life. You’re tired of playing small, and want a boost in your confidence for whatever life has in store of you next. It’s time you finally embrace parts of yourself that you’ve either hid or down played in the past. (Que happy dance!)
- You feel bored or limited by clothes. You’ve felt like you had to follow “rules” that boxed you in and dulled you down. You haven’t fully given yourself permission to wear what you actually want. You’re ready to define your authentic style, push the envelope, blend styles and maybe even play with bending gender stereotypes.
- You want some guidance to hone in your style. Whether you’ve tried but haven’t quite been able to bring your style vision to life, you want to find your style for the first time or can’t get over the fact that you just hate shopping, I’ve got you.

Style coaching is not about fashion. – It’s about self-expression.
“Real style is never right or wrong. It’s a matter of being yourself on purpose.” – G. Bruce Boyer
If your wardrobe is out of sync with who you really are, it becomes a barrier to showing up fully as yourself.
In my 11+ years as a life coach my mission, in all the things I do, including Style Coaching, is to help you be the most YOU, that you can be.
I will teach you how to use style as a tool to express yourself, to make you feel the way you want to feel, and communicate who you are to the world.
IMAGINE…
- Looking forward to getting dressed each day because everything in your closet make you feel and look amazing.
- Feeling amazing in your skin without changing a thing about your body.
- The ritual of getting dressed feeling like a creative process rather than a mundane task, that you use as a tool to communicate who you are to the world.
- Feeling inspired by your clothes (rather than bored) having learned how to create variety in your wardrobe by mixing, matching, and dressing items up or down to keep things fresh.
- Having a shopping experience that is actually fun and empowering rather than frustrating and defeating because you’ve got a guide and hype woman in your dressing room corner every step of the way!!

When you invest in style coaching, what you’re really investing in is…
- Being present and experiencing your life fully – when you feel great, you actually think less about how you look. This allows you to be present with the people and moments that at matter most. Plus having the right outfit makes any occasion, from work meetings to parties, more fun.
- Inner Peace + Protecting your mental and emotional energy – no more fretting about what to wear, feeling bad about yourself and picking yourself apart for not fitting into that pair of jeans, no more leaving the house in the outfit you feel the “least bad in”. Instead, looking in the mirror feeling grounded and seeing the real you, shine through.
- Saving time – How much time would you save if you could put together a great outfit with ease? Had a closet full of close that fit and feel great so you don’t have to try on 6 options before landing on something that is just “okay”?
- Saving money – Instead of buying a bunch of clothes that you don’t love, or aren’t sure how to style, I’ll make sure you buy pieces that look great on your today body and teach you how to style each piece multiple ways so that you get a ton of use out of each item – it’s about doing more with less!
“Fashion you can buy but style you possess. The key to style is learning who you are…”
– Iris Apfel
HOW IT WORKS…
Style Coaching is a 3 step process:
Step #1. We get clear on your Style Vision – We’ll hop on a video chat where I’ll help you identify your style muses and inspiration, how you want your clothes to make you feel and what aspects of yourself you want your clothing to help bring out in you.
Step #2. We hunt for treasure in your current closet – We start your shopping day at your home where we literally shop your current wardrobe, first. I’ll have to show me items you love and want to continue incorporating. I also want to understand what is not working for you. Through this process I’ll be a set of fresh eyes to help find the potential in items you already own – they often just need a bit of remixing, which saves you money when you fall back in love with old favorites.
Step #3. We shop! We’ll hit the town making several stops at my favorite consignment shops and boutiques where I’ll help you select items that align with your style vision. We start at consignment stores so that your dollar goes further, plus it’s good for the environment, too!
Bonus! On-going style support. For 3 months following your shopping day, as you settle into your new style I’ll be here as a resource in case you get stuck and need help. We can message or schedule a quick video chat as needed.
As your Style Coach, my job is to help you identify what your style is and how to confidently create looks that inspires you to be more yourself.

Hi!
My Story…
I’ve been obsessed with style “makeover” shows for as long as I can remember. But for me, it isn’t that people “looked better” that got me hooked, it was the powerful way people transformed through the simple act of changing their clothes.
I am always struck by the massive difference in the way my clients move, talk, respond to their own reflection and interact with others when they feel not only great about how they look, but also because they feel more like themselves. It’s been a long-time dream come true to get to be the person helping others transform in this way.
For this reason, I’ve always fought the narrative that caring how you look is shallow – For most of us, it’s so much more than that. I’ve found that when someone feels good about how they look, they actually think less about their appearance. They’re less distracted, less self-conscious and as a result, they’re more confident showing up as who they really are, they become more connected and present in their lives. This is why I am so passionate about this work, the ripple effect more than skin deep.
All that said, it doesn’t mean it’s easy! Throughout my own style-as-self-expression journey, I haven’t always given myself permission to wear what I wanted. Life has ways of boxing us in from the time we are children. At times I’ve dulled myself down out of fear of not belonging or being accepted. The cost of this has been holding myself back from being the person I want to be and I’m not longer allowing that fear to hold as much power over me and I’m on a mission to help you do the same!
I’ve realized that how we present ourselves in the world is deeply personal and stepping into who we are, letting go of past narratives about ourselves, our bodies and challenging beliefs about what we “should or shouldn’t” wear, can bring up a lot of our sh*t. That’s where my background of 11+ years of Life Coaching comes in, to support you to move through any limiting beliefs or fears that pop up as you’re stepping into your new, more-aligned self-expression.

Before working with Caitlin I was intensely bored of my wardrobe and the options I saw for myself in the men’s section but I had a hard time conceptualizing how to make something new. Up to that point I’d never tried hard with my style so it was usually based on comfort.
I didn’t know this kind of style guidance was available to everyday people so I was very excited to find Caitlin and have the opportunity to paint the picture I saw in my head to someone that could interpret it. The genderedness of the clothing options around me didnt inspire me. No matter how many online stores I dug through I could never quite find what I was looking for. I wanted something dynamic. I feel like men’s clothing is all blue jeans and button-ups and if you wanted to get funky the only thing available was craaaazy socks or loud patterns. I wanted to wear skirts and learn how to match that with my style/personality.
The whole style coaching process was mind opening and a lot of fun. The day went by so fast and it was filled with ease, comfort, and the exploration I was hoping for. I was very surprised at how much success was had just reimagining many of the pieces I already owned. The way Caitlin helped translate vague ideas into actual outfits was nothing less than magic to me.
I walked away from the experience understanding how to move forward with my style and put outfits together and she helped me feel comfortable stepping out in something totally different. This one day unlocked my own ability to feel confident in creating something new and feeling good about how it looks and feels on me. I feel like I have the range within my wardrobe to show up in the world however I’m feeling that day. Just having that energy in my outfits, I’ve seen people react in positive ways to me.
If you’re considering style coaching I encourage you to really open up. Whatever you are thinking, even if you don’t see examples of it in the world, do your best to communicate them to Caitlin and watch her work her magic!
